Accywebbers Daily Trivia quiz Comp!!!
 

Especially for all of you ive set up a quiz tournament hehehehe, so you can bat your wits against others - without cheating haha;)

Basically how it works is simple, you register to take part [costs nowt & easy] click link to join in, preferably register using your accyweb username or as close to it if taken, so we are all familiar who's who, then you can take part in a 10 Question quick fire multiple choice round, each question has possible answers including the right one - you just click your answer you want, no time to google its a timed quiz too so that final score out of 10 & time taken effects your standing on the quiz board, so that end of the night there will be a winner of the day & all will be entered accordingly on leader board which will run till end of the month to table the entrants like a footy league table & there will be an overall winner 'superchamp' of the month too as well as a daily winner. Every day i will post in this thread reminder to people know they can take part & new questions set [there is a wide range of questions & subjects] changed daily. I will also update on this thread 'yesterdays scores' so that you know where you are once that days quiz is done.

As im quiz host of the running tournament, i shall not be partaking in the quiz - so no bias can be claimed cos i set the questions so im just running the quiz being impartial so no arguements hehehehe:D

There is a log off on top of the page, probably have to do it in the quiz you logged into before. Can you not create a new account ???

Thats all i've done cos i was previously registered but least the quiz i was a member of logged me off.

Only thing i can think of is that its logged you on your IP address [which it does] thats probably why you might be having trouble, shame you cant log back into that one to cancel or unsub so you can re-join:confused:

Its not the same questions for everyone, you or very few depending how many playing will get same questions exactly, hahaha see i did say you cant cheat didnt i pmsl!!! All questions are set by current topic on top of the board today is general knowledge - you will all get general knowledge but different Q's or a mix of them:D

Erm yeh quite possible, thats the fun of this quiz its a bit like russian roulette hehehe & dont worry i do not know any of the questions it puts for you either i only get to set the topic or category thats it:D

pmsl willow yeh i've moderated quite a few on my old forum mmmmmm idea(I) if someone has a host of 40-50 quiz questions they could host a quiz in accychat room one night once a week or something - thats what my old group did:D

The typo's are soooo funny though thats why i never got far was too busy peeing meself laughing at what people put i was missing the q's lol

Ps even worse after a few beers or wines pmsl!!!:o

LOL & the quickest was ermmmmm errrr ...me :o:o shamefully i was subjected to such a laugh because i just entered the game to play & my browser naffed up [thanks IE] & it refreshed submitting my none right score with time 0.02 secs & i had to lump it cos i couldnt do it again :(

Just to let you know that todays quiz will close at 12.30am so that it can be reset for new questions for tommorow & will say its closed for this session, so will post to let you know when new one is starting:D As quiz is set automatically to finish at 5am & im not going to be around every day at that time to reset so that different topic for every day & different level of hardness/easy too.

So anymore people wanna do the quiz ?? do so soon to be included on the board today or you can leave it for tomoz or other day its upto you:D

lol Rindy nope i wasn't up that time of the morning no chance hehehehehehe:D i set it up at 9am this morning but the tournament is pre set time so cant alter it, its ok though cos i can set it so it will change itself hence why i have to close todays tournament at 12.30am so to give everyone same chance of playing before i start to alter gaming settings, so bear with me new game will definately be up & running by 9.30am tomoz LOL.

Thanks mel, that was a nice change of pace for a hectic day. Hadn't ever heard of the one place but what gets me was them telling me I didn't answer the question that I'd had memorized since childhood. UGH!

It really is an excellent website. There's loads of different quiz's on many different subjects. I've been playing on the music ones :D then tested what I could remember from college on a few of the humanities subjects. Just going to have a play on the astrology quiz's now. :D

Well, I just had a go. A bit of a panic on the first one as I was trying to complete them as quick as I could and forgot to go back to it. Must admit that I wouldn't have known it but I could have taken a chance with a guess!!

I don't know how you work it as host Mel, but rather than closing it couldn't you leave it open until you start the next one the day after?

It might allow some of the members from the otherside of the world, who come on in the middle of our night to play if they want too.

Because yesterdays was on manual set i had to stop the quiz 12.30am last night reason being if i changed the quiz questions while it still had a few hours to go then people who did it earlier would complain or those that did it later could complain certainly if questions were easier or harder - so that was the reason im afraid.

As i set it on automatic i will see if that makes any difference so as rindy has suggested i will leave tonights quiz open & turn over at 5am to new quiz itself, now doing this means i cant be responsible for any category set so if its mixed bag questions again altho it wont be same questions aas its radomly done with exceptions so calling it russian roulette as its sods law hehehehehehe, which will save me pressure tomoz as ive to be out in morning & stuff so least i dont have to worry as such - hopefully:eek:
