I guess I still don't understand the claims concerning the recent alleged cheating allegations made allegedly!:rolleyes:

As many are aware, I've chosen not to play the Accyweb trivia so Cindy could play alone and avoid stuff. However, since she usually plays at her office during the week, she went straight into playing yesterday. It was under LancYorkYankee.

She felt bad but I asked her to immediately play under Cinnyose. She did and the questions were all completely different.

Tonight, I again asked her to test the alleged cheating method, as we understood it. She played fishandchips and then immediately played Cinnyose. Again, the questions were totally different. So, to the few nasty personal accusers, not only do I again claim our innocense, I now question the validity of the test that "proved" the allegations. Supposedly it was exact questions if multi-household memebers played right after each other. That's totally BOGUS!

What an incredible waste of energy and discreditation to all those innocently accused. Those who personally accused us and other multi-family households, should be ashamed.

Thanks for all the support we've received from the majority of the players. It is nice to be proven and accepted as honorable and trustworthy from those who know us best!

Maybe fun trivia have stepped up the question security on the quiz:rolleyes:

& before u get on your hind horse about anything else it would help that double checking username logged in before playing as this doesn't help if people are casting aspersions :rolleyes: & i cant see where anybody has put the suggestion of this but you, & all this isnt helping the numbers in the quiz pool!!

Really - i have now had enough of all this being stirred & have no interest of quiz gate - only interested in people playing as it was set up for - FUN!

Playing the Global Trivia increases your speed alot. First you've gotta rush through 15 questions and then you begin seeing alot of the same questions repeated. In some categories I can actually just read the answers and know what the question was.

It makes Accyweb Trivia a bit easier on the speed and accuracy I believe.

Thanks, everyone! March was certainly a tight race and rindy really kept me on my toes.

After having run second for the past two months, it feels really great to finally win one, especially when the finish was so exciting.

All in all, Saturday, March 31 was special. I proposed to Debbie, my girlfriend, and we are now engaged. Makes the quiz results pale by comparison. Okay, now you can really congratulate me!

How the quiz scores, which determine your daily ranking, are determined:

(100*number of correct answers)-seconds to answer

So, if you get 9 questions right in 60 seconds, you score is
(100*9)-60= 840

Funtrivia have improved things & seems have been onto cheating within the system - BUT please dont test it - u only cheat yourself!! Lots of categories now on daily on variety of subjects on per rota per week at admins discretion, only saturdays will be general mixed bag day subject & the rest of the days will be a different subject category per day, [except sat].

Remember this is an accyweb private tournament - you must be a MEMBER of accyweb & have posted on site, anyone who isn't will be removed & banned!! This is an exciting improvement to the Accy trivia. Certainly less chance of surprises in the make-up of the questions. You choose or choose not to play based on the topic. At least that's one method.

I mean, rather than killing myself on UK trivia, I can sit it out and watch all my English Mates battle it out as they finally have a chance to play with pure English trivia.

The Global Trivia parent quiz is down as well.

It did this the other week, and it came on about six hours later saying they'd had a powercut!:D

I went to Moor End in Ossy, then to QEGS in Blackburn, before leaving to go to do my degree at art school, and then spent the vast majority of my life as a fashion whoreanista (made up, but apt word) in London. I moved back to Ossy three years ago, after a brief stint in Glasgow. That's me in a few sentences, so we may have crossed paths in the past.:)
