Am soo glad Rachel went this week

The right people were in the bottom

Diana was definitely better this week, don't like her as much as I did tho

Got goosebumps all over from Ruth's performance, she was great!:D

Diana to win, I'm trying to convert everybody in Glasgow to her cause. Spread the good words exiled Accringtonians.

Thought Accy lass was'nt so good, could'nt hear her voice as the backing song was far to loud, maybe they were trying to cover up she's still having problems with her voice & as the judges have earmarked her to win it they needed to cover up any short comings in her vocals.:confused:As for the Irish boy,Egg Nog,...VOTE HIM OFF NOW,his fat head is doing mine in.How big is he for a 12 year old or whatever age he is.Get yer hair sorted boy.
Can i just add that i did'nt watch this programme voluntarily, iwas in the other room listening to music by bands that had payed their dues by relentless touring & playing sh**** clubs to earn a fraction of what these Cowell production line wannabes will earn.I had to pass the TV in the other room to get a can from the fridge.;)

I had the unfortunate experiance to switch on to this show yesterday evening, for the very first (and last) time; I am absolutely amazed to see that 201 postings have been made on this drivel. Many years ago there was a programme called "Opportunity Knocks" and from what I can see the X factor follows a similar format of allowing the public to vote on various acts. With Opportunity Knocks, however, most of the contestants did have some degree of talent; many played a musical instument. In not one instance last night did I see anyone with guitar, piano or even spoons - every turn was no more than a glorified Karioke sing along, by people with the vocal range of a cat under torture. Now I find that one of these characters maybe from Accy. Please, let this not be true..let us maintain some standards for our town.

The Cranberries haven't been in the charts for years. Diana is unique at the moment. There is no-one else currently sounding like her.

Everyone could be compared to someone if you go back.

No-one begrudged Leona Lewis when she was compared to Whitney Houston.

I'd give anything to hear her sing the Ballad of Lucy Jordan by Marianne Faithfull, that would be sublime, heavenly.

My God! I can't believe you said that!

I said the same thing today and The Ballad of Lucy Jordan is not a common song. How strange that we both thought of that song!:D
