I'm loving the new presenters.

AND - big news!!!!!! I applied to go on the show, I passed my audition and I'M GOING TO BE ON COUNTDOWN!!!!

My mum was a contestant on Countdown about 15 years ago when Richard and Carol were presenting it. She won 2 games then lost the third. We all had a fabulous day at the studios.
It's surprised us when she went shopping in Accy after the programme was shown on telly and people she didn't know stopped her to congratulate her!
We hadn't expected that.
A little bit of fame for a week or so, LOL.

Lol, I'm sure you won't embarrass yourself.

It was a super kid who beat my mum. He was only 10 and my god he was quick! I think he finished up runner up of the series!

It could be any time in the next six months before i get the filming dates. Then it's about three weeks before it's aired. So, could even be after Christmas!!!!

Ive got to admit I like Jeff ,hes doing a great job ,and Rachel is a lovely unassuming girl ,i hope she doesnt get as cocky as Carol
