Don't worry, he's winding you up a bit.

However, for any audio fans out there we got a lovely veiled explanation of the peculiar gondoliers in the 23rd century when the Eighth Doctor and Charley dropped by in The Stones of Venice.

This new doctor & the new writer are both a bit naff imo.

The storyline was extremely weak & the ending was even weaker.

Although I wasn't blown away by last night's episode, I must disagree over your views on Matt Smith and Steven Moffat. Smith is encapsulating elements of Peter Davison and Patrick Troughton plus putting his own little dark flashes in there which has totally drawn me in.

Now that we're past the 'still writing for David Tennant' stage, we're seeing improvements in the characterisation and the overarching story is building nicely.

Moffat is proving himself to be a worthy successor to RTD, in my opinion.
