Well we have to be fare with this, there are always some people in life that go over the top in any walk of life, the thing is the big majority of our society live a normal life and are not influenced by things they may see on TV or DVDs, and there are those who do things when they are under the influence of foreign substances added to there daily intake just for pleasure, and it usually comes back to haunt them, that is if they can remember it;)

Havn't you got something better to do than posting on every topic you see? Also you seem to have reduced my Karma - you don't even have the guts to put your name on it!

You talk crap half the time! Your opinions are basically hypocritical (out of the Daily Mail!

Other programs? So it shouldn't be blamed on Coronation St, then. Blaming it on corrie (or a specific video game, or a specific heavy metal band or whatever - as has happened in the past) is trying to find a scapegoat for the failure of family, friends and society to notice that this person was about to go over the edge.

This person was going to kill his mother whatever his "inspiration". 99.999% of Corrie viewers got through the episode without murdering someone. Statistically, it shouldn't even be considered as a factor.

Spot on Studio, the majority of people realise that its not real its only make believe, and as you say this lad suddenly didn't become a nutter of night, there's been failings along the line, like there is in most cases like this blaming a TV program is the easy way out
