Well it was originally a children's book... and as Eric says the theatre show is for 10 and up. The film states it's for 12 and over.

I just found it to be too "glossy" somehow -the horses are brilliant in it -probably the best actors!

Spielberg had his rose-tinted specs on when he made this one...
