ah, I think you have it set up as extended desktop so your monitor is a 'window' on a larger 'virtual' desktop. It should just need reconfiguring. I'm off friday If you want me to pop round and do it?

Thanks Ian.

Can you describe what you mean, the screen size is as I've always
had it on all the computers I've ever had, I thought they set
themselves up when you plugged them in. Did'nt even know I had a
larger virtual desktop. I'm going back in time to kill that gates.

Hi Ian
Attached are a few sample shots of what I mean as to
screen width taken from other sites I visit.
All readable in the screen, whilst Accy Web has a quarter offside.
Notice rat bar along bottom of sreen on Accy Web, have to use
it to read which forum the thread is in.

I've tried other sizes of resolution now on 1280 x 600 every thing is stretched vertical, needd a magnifier to read some of the fonts, plus I need to adjust the screen thats one off to one side, going back to
my original settings.

Re: Forum Software Upgraded

if you are 1280 wide you should be 960 high if your monitor is a standard 4:3
1280 / 4 = 320
320 * 3 = 960

That should stop things being stretched

I have just tried Accyweb on my netbook in both red and blue skins and it works fine at 1024 wide. You use 1026 by 768 on a standard 4:3 monitor

The relationship between horizontal and vertical pixels is one of those "obvious when pointed out" sort of things many people don't think about.

I run mine at 1440 by 900 because I have a 16:10 22" wide screen monitor

heh, I run mine at 1920 x 1200 :D

Retlaw, are you all sorted or do you need me to pop in still?

Heres the screen shots, only been like this since yesterday so I assume its the upgrade that has changed it, the Hone - new Post - UserCP used to be at the top of the page, all the blog links have been added since the upgrade.
As you can see it takes up half the 1st page in portrait mode, takes all the screen when in landscape.

I can see your problem, however don't appear to be able to duplicate it? I'm on Accyweb on my iphone now and the blogs do not appear, whether I log in or out. I don't really use the mobile theme, am I missing something?

Its a lot better now, never played with those settings before. Now I wish I'd kept the monitor I gave to my daughter. I'll have to get another.

No but seriously, I think if you run at 800x600 then the screen will not be able to cope, 1% of users here still run at that though. Of course websites are getting wider and bigger, as technology moves on, I actually couldn't imagine using a 800x600 monitor any more!
