Hmmm... http://sfx-images.mozilla.org/affili...0x60/safer.gif methinks is Neil's signature picture, so I am assuming that you are only having problems on the pages that neil has posted to....

Mmmm, its only a gif so there should be no problem displaying it.

I have a problem on one thread as there is some Javascript that my browser warns is causing the page to freeze. Its only one thread and I get the option to disable it so it doesn't stop it. It's what come from all these fang dangled sigs. Whats wrong with -- :)

Unless at that particular time the server hosting the gif was unreachable... Which I suspect might have been the case.

Talking of fang dangled sigs I've just got a funny experience here with Staggeringman's. In the first post all I'm getting is the top of one of his flags moving across the page. In his second post I get the full sig.

I've also noticed something very interesting regarding the URLs as viewed with IE and Firefox.

In Firefox all that shows is the URL as you would expect to see it but in IE there are several lines of text.

At first I thought this was just happening if people typed in the URL instead of using the hyperlink tags but yesterday I noticed one of mine where I had used the tags and initially in IE it showed up as intended and then later it somehow reverted back to the several lines of text.

I haven't had any problems with Neil's sig using IE or Firefox but was just wondering if it can have anything to do with the clickability and leading you to the Firefox website?

BTW, I like your avatar Roy.

It's interesting to see what differences there are - otherwise how would I know about the extra odd lines of unwanted oojah? Anyhow I've still got AOL. I'm foxy on here though, a foxy willow.

I still have to use IE for some Financial Adviser websites, as they don't work with Firefox.

Quite annoying really, but I do tend to use FF whenever I can

Have you tried making FF identify itself as IE? I find there are quite a few sites that 'claim' to be IE only but work perfectly well when teh user agent has been spoofed.
