Well im still having probs replying - taking ages to post sometimes doing nothing to the point i have to refresh & hope it dont post twice - then times it dont post at all, page cannot be displayed messages & taking time on loading to which im very patient LOL!!:D

I echo in a fashion what Less was tying to point out, I think.
I know we all expect perfection but unfortunatly because this isn’t some government/ council run site ( loads of tax payers money) I believe we aren’t far from it, that is, thanks to Roy, his efforts and abilities and to be honest here I’m being conservative because I really don’t want to blow his trumpet. Lets give the bloke a break. By all means list the problems were having because they are actually helpful but stop expecting to much as money doesn’t grow on trees.
Don't forgrt, to you and I the forums are free, just think about that.

Out of curiosity does anyone know how much it would costs to own, run and maintain a sever? But don’t answer this as it’s off topic.

I’ve had a few beers to night and tomorrow I’ll wish I hadn’t posted and just gone sreight to bed. :D

ONE PERSON mentioned Roy.. the rest are listing problems... in fact I doubt the one person mentioning Roy was in the wrong... No one is having a go at Roy so why is a moderator telling us to give him a break?

Lets get it clear shall we... IF we have problems with the site. Are we allowed to list those problems in feedback or not (non of us are attacking roy so dont use that excuse)

If this thread was people attacking Roy I would agree with you Len.. I would have nowt to do with it and I would defend Roy to the hilt.... but it isn't.. its people listing problems so either you and Less should get off your high horses and let us use this section exactly for the reason it was made or you should get rid of this section and make it a rule that your not allowed to say whats wrong.

One or the other :)

No I’m not on my high horse not in anyway. I’m just trying to say give it a little time and hopefully it will get sorted.
I’m not trying to suggest that everyone is attacking Roy because they aren’t and I’m sorry that it came across that way. My comment “give the bloke a break” is obviously missed placed.
By all means list the problems that we’re having here, as we are doing because that’s what this section is for.
I suppose if this site was owned and run by some big organisation then maybe everything would be put right instantly but it’s not.

Anyway lets keep this thread as is… for listing the problems we’re having as I have obviously now started something by posting, Sorry.

The other side to the coin is that people feel they are being told off for listing the problems .. its a hard life being an accywebber hehe:)

I have a simple question. Is Roy the only person who can sort out problems with AccyWeb or can you moderating types sort out these problems as well?

Well I’ve been out to day and I’ve met some very nice people and chances are I’m going to regret having posted again. But.. really we do not want to come across as telling people off, well not all the time but what has to be done has to be done, we are not novelists , writers etc and often it’s difficult to explain and get a message across with out upsetting anyone. You think it’s an hard life being an accywebber, try being a moderator. :(


No... I'm sure there are thousands of people with the same abilities as Roy who could sort out the accyweb problems but as for us moderators we are average people with average jobs and average miserable lives, just like everyone else and unfortunatly we can not sort it. :D

Anyhow bed time me thinks, before things get silly.
