Re: Deleted posts.

At least it's not just me then. I posted in that thread the other day & it was deleted. Len sent me a PM to explain why. I later posted, what i thought was a relevent comment in the same thread, & that was also deleted. needless to say, i haven't posted in that thread again.

:(

Why would you?? it's just waisting your own time and effort. If mods are pm'ing you and telling you what you can and can't put then that isn't actually your OWN opinion is it??:(

phff..........

In fairness to Len, the explaination he gave me was fair. However there were a lot worse comments left on the thread.

:)

Think yourself lucky that you got a explanation ;)

My post was actually answering something that hatter had wrote!! so therefore was NOT off topic, I HAD answered a question and I wasn't nasty about it ( which was good for me where hatter is concered).

Oh well the mind boggles.

I actually thought that my second post that was deleted, was one of the more relevent on the entire thread.

Taken from another thread but I think the wording of this post is quite apt for this thread also
Quote:

Positive discrimination stinks, and very often causes more trouble that it intended to help, because of the inevitable, justified backlash.
You can bet your life none of hatters posts were deleted in that thread without a justified reason being given, or we'd have had another 15 page thread of him arguing with admin about how badly he's treated on this forum.

Re: Deleted posts.

That thread you are talking about had obviously got out of hand as you’ve seen. We need to get it back in order and if this means we have to remove any chat/ Provocation posts then so be it. Obviously we are not going to delete posts that have already been made as people will start to moan, as here. But from now on we will.
