Re: Wot! No EDIT button?

Before you make a post, you can check the spelling by using the "Spell Check" feature on the new post box by pressing the button that looks like this: http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/i...r/spelling.gif

I think the edit post should be limited to 30 mins, then like Roy mentions no-one can make a post and then edit their first one making other replies look silly, like many people were doing. If people can't behave, they ruin it for the others.

Are you meaning on BurnleyWeb Neal? (because I can't see one here on AccyWeb.) I remember we did have one once.

No there it is.

I've never noticed it before.

What a result.

You have to download it to use it.

Re: Wot! No EDIT button?

It's good, but doesn't seem to correct your punctuation, just spelling.

Re: Wot! No EDIT button?

I have voted to bring it back. I don't use the edit function in a Machiavellian manner, for deceitful & perfidious purposes, unlike a certain member of Accyweb from the West Midlands. I use the edit function to cover my tracks with regards to my momentary lapses in the correct usage of the English language. :o

Question for Royski: Is it possible to switch off the edit function on a selective basis? If someone can prove that they can behave in an adult, responsible manner, then they have earned the right of use.

I've attached an image of the location of the spell check feature.

You have to install i-spell: ieSpell - Spell Checker add-on for Internet Explorer

Sorry, it only works in IE.
