Just hit the quote button
and paste your text in the middle.

Then go back down to the next bit of text you want to quote, copy it, hit the quote button again and paste between the sticks again:)

You can cut n shut whatever you want in between e.g.

No .. not correct yet ... will try again mutter, mutter, mutter .. :(

Like that you mean Kate?

I clicked quote on Daves original post, then selected it all and copied it. Next I pressed the back button and clicked quote on your post. Left click inside your quote after the first close square bracket but before your actual quote and paste in Daves quote.

I was away when this thread was written and but for katex drawing my attention to it via another forum I would never have even been aware of it.

I must thank her for such an entertaining read. You lot are hilarious - especially Rindy and his paddy fields! Talk about a thread wander
. :D

Re: Two separate quotes in one post.

I'm going to follow up on this anyway, even though the above question was not answered because I shall presume this is what is meant. If not, then I can always do another instruction later.

Right, so if we just quote the whole post we get:

I am presuming you wish to split that post into two seperate sections which you can post between.

Like this?

So, how do we go about it?

Well first of all we pick up the whole quotation which gives you something like this in your text box:
How do you seperate one quote ? is it done the same as if you had 2 sepater quotes?
Then you copy the bit which says
and paste it at the point where you wish the first part of the quotation to end. Leave a little space and then copy the bit which says
and paste that.

Then in the space which you left between the
and the
you simply post what you want to say in response to the first bit.

I hope that answers the question and that it makes sense.

How do you display the quote above without it showing it as a quote above?

Or

You can quote the whole thing by going to the post and clicking the 'quote' button.

Then all of it shows as above.

You then

Copy the word(s) you require, click the quote button above, (if you hover your mouse pointer on the buttons above a description of it will appear) the button in this case is:-
http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/i...itor/quote.gif

left click it paste what you want in between the open and close [quotes] and you have two quotes.

:) Of course it would also help if you remember to put the person your quoting's name in it.

Well I'm sure that has helped to muddy the water just a little bit more!

If not try this:-

Quote:

How
Quote:

do
Quote:

you
Quote:

seperate
Quote:

one
Quote:

quote ?
Quote:

is
Quote:

it
Quote:

done
Quote:

the

same

as

if

you

had
