ok the chat room is now with us and you can access it from the link at the top (CHAT).. smileys will be added eventually but for now please just test it and let me know how it is.

Bring it on - Roy, we used the chatroom alot after we got into trouble for our posts turning into conversations. I will be glad to see it back Roy then it saves us keep getting a slap on the hands :D We also liked testing it's censorship but that's a different story lol!

I’m all for the Chat room and I think it should be open 24-7 so that anyone at anytime can disappear with their mates and chat away without having to use the boards for chatting. If not, then the threads start getting clogged up with unrelated chit-chat, to everyone’s annoyance.
So I’m up for it.

I say GET A CHAT ROOM!! I used it quite a bit and I agree with Len it does keep the threads down.

Why don't you invite certain people who are involved in hot issues of the day in Accy to come into the chat room as a one off. You could promote the event and then people could have debates with them. There would have to be a moderator in there as well to ensure that it didn't get abusive. It might get people using the chat room a bit more.

i like it in the chat room its great had some good nights chatting in there, so come on , give it a whirl, the bar may be open later he he he .
