Re: what...

Now you have some Ackers, go to Item shops, Vets and buy some medicine. Get Pats health up a bit and I will play with him to give hime some pleasure. You need to keep feeding him as well.

Re: what...

how do i make him better now he's dead?

vorlon24 06-01-2005 11:37

Re: what...

Buy some health from the vet.

You can also get some food from the Spar, plus other items from the kennels and deathpets inc.

Just check out all the shops.

I would get a bank account though - you get 7% daily interest, and it soon adds up!

Re: what...

I've played with him so he's happier now, but reached my limit for today.

entwisi 06-01-2005 13:40

Re: what...

5200 ackers now that is alot of money you have got their accyclaret you should put it in the bank and get an intrest on it like you probably do with your halifax savings account i used to get about 1p a year!!!!!

vorlon24 07-01-2005 08:41

Re: what...

You should get a current account then - we had around £1,000 in it for a couple of weeks and got 16p.

My other current account I get 5.85% net on my savings, with no tax to pay!!!

WillowTheWhisp 07-01-2005 12:05

Re: what...

Thinks ..................... it's time I checked out interest rates. Where do you bank vorlon?

vorlon24 07-01-2005 12:47

Re: what...

One Account - it's an all-in-one, where the mortgage and current/savings account is all together.

This way, the current account and savings offset the mortgage balance, so you only pay interest on the remainder - our monthly repayments reduced by about £100 when my wife got her redundancy payment.

Offsets aren't for everyone though - you need to be quite disciplined with your money, and I haven't met anyone else yet who would benefit from this, and as a mortgage adviser, I see quite a few people!

WillowTheWhisp 07-01-2005 13:46

Re: what...

I'm very disciplined. :D I have several account books with everything itemised!

I also have several bank accounts! (for different purposes) My mortgage is so tidgy now I don't think anyone else would even take it on. I looked round for smaller interest rate last year and the general reaction is "piddling little amount like that isn't worth bothering about"

vorlon24 07-01-2005 14:12

Re: what...

If its less than £25,001 you won't get a mortgage from anyone.

If its more, and you want to save even a small amount, it may be worth it.

There's a fixed rate just released of 4.49% for 2 years which is proving quite popular at the moment

WillowTheWhisp 07-01-2005 15:02

Re: what...

It's less - I told you they called it a piddling little amount :D

vorlon24 07-01-2005 21:34

Re: what...

Have you thought about transferring it to a 0% credit card?

WillowTheWhisp 07-01-2005 21:46

Re: what...

They don't stay 0% for very long do they?

vorlon24 07-01-2005 21:50

Re: what...

My one is for 9 months.

I think I must be on my 3rd or 4th one by now, and all the previous ones were for 6 months.

Later on this year I'll move it again, unless I can pay it off before then!!!
