As it stands, local politics is undeniably tied into what's happening nationally.

Rightly, or wrongly.

Graham was lucky.

Even though the last government was hugely unpopular, most people still vote for the party, rather than the person.

If the Conservatives had got their act together, and selected a local candidate, there's a good chance our M.P. would have been someone different today.

In theory, what's happening in politics nationally shouldn't interfere at local level.

Sadly it does.

Won't let me enter Page 2 through IE, but will through Firefox.

Ok, know a lot of people on here like Firefox, but it is too slow on my computer and slow everything down.
