Hi Everyone
Hi to you all.

Cannot believe I found this site. My name is Catrina, I'm married to Paul. At the moment we are both living in Cumbria.. We moved here 2 1/2 years ago from Accrington, and wish we hadn't. We so want to move back.

You are so right, we both worked at The Dunkenhalgh when it was still owned by Mc Donalds.. Moved to Cumbria. (the grass isn't always greener). We think of Accrington as home..

What a shame things didn't work out for you. At least you gave it a go though. Hope you soon get things sorted out to come back.

It's too quiet, clicky etc. The town where we are almost shuts down at 10pm every night. Don't get me wrong its a lovely place for tourists, but its full of churches and pubs, (very little else.)

Yes its nice, its full of quaint listed buildings.. BUT, we feel as if we're being buried alive.
Our block of flats are for over 25's with no children and no pets.
Its a converted listed building.
Paul would need a job before we could move.
