Then the bin rooting brigade wait for you and threaten you with court. Council Tax is to keep councilors in the manner to which they are accustomed.

Does anyone know why the bins go out the back, yet the recyclables go out the front?

Thank heavens i don't have to wheel my bin to the front of the house.Ours is mid-terrace so it would be quite a hike.Would'nt like to be a pensioner & have to do this.I can just about put up with having to carry the recyclables through the house.
By the way, everything turned out fine on collection day, just a few rogue slugs to scrape off the sacks:( :)
Is it because the collection lorry for recyclables is too wide to go down our narrow back streets, thats why we have to put them out the front?

Well not really. With cars there is obviously another option of parking on the road. If you live in a basic terrace there is no other place to put the recycling than on the pavement.
