That answers the first reason, but what about the rest of us, that come to terms with death, what is it that you are seeking ?

OK Doug .. just seen yer post after I had posted.

What are you looking for Kate,

But if it helps and comforts people then it must be benefical.

My friend was wracked withguilt because her son was on his own when he died, I think her reading really helped her in her grieving.

I'm pleased for her, and anyone else that finds comfort in times of sorrow, in whatever way.

Mankind has been seeking comfort and answers since the begining of time.

Believe me they not all native American Indians, you get allsorts, there’s no time, religion, culture or creed in the spirit world, just those that have gone before us. I think the titles, races and descriptions given to us as guides are for our benefit only.

What is you wish to know though Bernie ?

When my daughter married this plonker years ago, the husband and the mother-in-law (believe me absolutely mentally ill people) ran physic fairs, she took it over for a while as a business. Whilst she did love some of the mediums there, as they were genuinely lovely people, had an insight into their clever ways of convincing people that they knew something about their lives, suppose this is why I am more than a little sceptical. Don't waste your money on these.

I'm afraid that my mind is too logical, but if people get comfort from these people, then they are only doing good in the world.... so be it !!

I have paid for a reading or two over the years, but the best messages I’ve received have been in church, all it’s ever cost me is £2 in the collection and the occasional raffle ticket. What I’ve had back, particularly this year as been priceless.

I don't know about anywhere else, but at Cleveleys the mediums get a fiver out of the collection to help with petrol. They don't charge for their time.

Well, Doug ... seek nothing. My beliefs are that you are born, you die... there is nowt after that, so enjoy the bit in between .. day to day sortof.

I feel just lucky that I have always had food in my stomach, heating to warm me and good medical health care when I have broken bones 'cause of my clumsiness .. :D I have been able to provide for my children in better ways monetary that most people and they have done me proud. I was provided an excellent childhood by my parents and loved beyond reproach.

I have lovely friends and enjoy my days at work. No health worries as yet, but now I am in my Autumn years .. so if you could send me a lovely male companion to share a few hours with .. that would be ok ;)

No ...( joking apart) .. why should I be looking for anything out of life now ... I have been rich beyond my wildest dreams . !

Yes I have always been told the best ones are the ones that do it for free!!

My mum once talked to a Gypsy!! no money involved, just a chat!! and that conversation turned out to be most true and very en lightening!!

You get good and bad in every walk of life, I think the bad ones soon get sussed out. I am just saying that if I ever felt the need to visit one I would take advice off someone who has found solace like my friend. I have had the odd reading but it is that long ago I can't recall whether they were good or bad!

Now't wrong with that lass, I think I've been very fortunate with mine and I look forward to the time when I can give something back.

Re: Medium Rare?

When I was working on night duty...way back in 1976....the very hot summer....I was looking after an elderly lady. One night when all the other patients were asleep she called me over.......she told me so much about family members who had passed on......and gave me insights into the life which was before me. I was, at the time studying hard for my finals....which of course she knew from general conversation on the ward, but she told me that I should believe in my abilities....and I would do well in my exams and she told me that the spirit world was telling her I would be wearing a frilly cap....meaning that I would become a ward sister.....I dared not believe in that......but all that she said came to pass.

The lady knew I was sceptical...even though I had had experiences of life after the grave...she told me that I had 3 spirit friends - an old gypsy (who she said was related to me in some way,but beyond living memory) a little eskimo girl (which explained why I was always cold -even on hot days) and a chinese man with the book of knowledge(he would enable me to learn anything I put my mind to)....she told me that I should trust my 'experiences' far more than I did as these experiences were to help me, and they came from the spirit world.

I have to say that I was very spooked by what she had said......and more so as each one of the things she had told me about came true.
She told me that she was a member of the spirit church in Darwen, and that she would welcome me if I wanted to develop my 'skills'.
Try as I might I cannot remember the name of this gentle lady.
