Not that i have noticed before previously, if the burger van is still open near outside market then i think they might hope so for a nice hotdog, or mostly people go to greggs.

If you go, get yourself to Greenhalgh's (sp) near Wilkinsons.

They sell the best black pea's ever!! and are dirt cheap for a big pot .that's where I will be heading anyway :D and you even get a sachet of vinegar :D

A former soap actor has been sacked from a pantomime after swearing at a 3,000-strong crowd as he switched on the Christmas lights.

Paul Danan has apologised after he swore several times down the microphone at the audience in Preston city centre. Danan, who also appeared in ITV's Celebrity Love Island, was due to play Jack in Jack and the Beanstalk at the Charter Theatre, but has been axed.

No there was only the shops in The Arndale open and a couple on broadway. I don't know about the food stands though, I wasn't going to buy anything else after paying £4 for a light sabre!! So went to McDonalds! lol. I'm attempting to thaw my feet out at the moment though it was bloody freezing, I went into Peacocks after a while and bought a pair of socks. The fireworks were well worth it though, I thought they were brilliant.:)
