The firworks went on for a while and just when you thought that was it they started again. You could just imagine somebody on the Arndale roof shouting "Hang on I found another box in a carrier bag " :D

well how crap was that down there tonight? one poor bloke switching the lights on by hand on broadway, seems they spent all the budget on the fireworks instead of getting a power cable long enough to light all the lights all at once

i wandered off to the pub while they did that..... came back out for the fireworks....they were good tho! not sure about the "entertainment" ... a suggestion for next year..... LEARN THE SONGS!!!!!!

well i thought it was ok, yeh the group wern't exactly the "Ronettes" but the fireworks wern't half bad, even bumped into Mel n Dave n family, but had just missed Slinks,so guess that was a lucky escape.:D

They were in lots of cardboard boxes, I was looking at them this morning.

I thought they were the best Christmas switch on fireworks for years.

I hated it. Trying to walk through that many people while pushing a pram was a nightmare, then when people wont move out of the way and the pram taps them in the ankles they look at you like your the devil. Thought the fireworks where cool, didnt really see much though was in a rush to get home.

i had a pram with me last night, i just pushed my way through the crowd with the pram, whoever got hit with it should of moved out the bloody way :D

yea i did the same it got anoying tho there was some one with a pram thay could see i had a double pram but nope thay still stand a distance away from the pram leaving the baby in the pram in my way and i wasnt going a differant way its hard enough pushing the double pram enough without having to turn differant ways just to get past the thing that makes me laugh is that the ppl in your way give you a dirty look for catching there anckles or catching a wheel on the pram and thay expect us with prams to move ha yeah right

Is like that on a normal day down town , when i go down town with my bf and child no one moves out the way i just hit them, some people are really ignorant, i just say excuse me and if they dont move then taugh!, my bf is the opossite he could wait for a long time untill all people move out of the way!!.http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/i...ons/icon10.gif
