Re: do we have a police officer?
Most people don't step forward for things without any idea what it is. You're getting everyones attention but as usual it's just dragging on a long and boring thread when you could just say why you need one and one would be more likely to come forward.

Re: do we have a police officer?
But there is one way in this country in which all men are created equal-there is one human institution that makes a pauper the equal of a Rockefeller, the stupid man the equal of an Einstein, and the ignorant man the equal of any college president. That institution, gentlemen, is a court."
- Harper Lee, To Kill A Mockingbird If you believe that then the moons made of green cheese. The only thing that makes all men equal is a cemetery. Courts are a play house for show offs and motor mouths, the better the motor mouth the better your chances of getting off, even when guilty. Retlaw |
Re: do we have a police officer?

Money will buy people a motormouth in court so that they win, those who cant afford a motormouth with have to make do with what they get, very true (though legal aid is very random, you may get a QC if you a fortunate, so even the poorest man may get the very best of representation) Money will buy you the grandest headstone the cemetary has ever seen, whereas the poorest man may get no headstone at all. At least the law tries to provide all with representation in most situations. The cemetary is a little more grim in my eyes. |
