Why not composte it. They were doing free composters the year before last I think. They may still do I dont know. Unfortunately I found out about the freebies a few days after I bought my own.

Just a thought. :)

I already have two compost bins, they are both full - and I have a compost heap, it's like a jungle out there!

Are you one of those people the council claim doesn't have a garden when you can see plants and shrubs and grass outside your window?

That's right, Willow, I have a large magnolia tree, 2 apple, 3 cherry and one pear tree and loads of raspberry canes - not to mention shrubs and flowers- which all need cutting back every year and yet I can't have a green bin!

Re: domestic waste removal?

there are areas with very small gardens or just a small rear garden in ossy that are declared garden areas yet people in accrington who have front back and side gardens are not classed as garden areas so dont qualify for a bin , a lot of these houses in accrington were built by the council so they know damn well they have gardens but are at the lower end of the council tax bill unlike the more posher houses in ossy

someone sure looks after the wealthier up the posher part of ossy , could it possibly be a tory councilor wanting to keep his voters happy

nah thats just silly whos ever heard of tories only looking after the better off people that could never be the case
