How can I? I am a tenant and as such where I can put it is limited.

In addition to that - I was technically in the wrong to have it put up without written permission. The 'verbal' permission was 'put it up in an unobtrusive position'

When my inlaws lived near you Margaret I just stuck the dish up in the best position without asking.

Does that make me a rebel?

Our sky always goes off when we get bad rain or storms.
Didn't think there was anything you could do to sort it?
Thought it was just one of those things!

I don't know how HH(and previously HBC) have the cheek to add a charge to the rent for it.

The communal aerial is on the next block downhill, and a cable stretches across a large carpark between the blocks.
It is very clear that this installation was inadequate and the rusted remains of tenant installed aerials litter the soffit boards of these flats.

My neighbour advised me recently that the communal aerial had been upgraded and he was able to get more channels on Freeview.

I only try using it when my Sky signal goes down in bad weather.

They did upgrade ours Margaret a few years ago and my picture has been excellent since, all except 5 that is and now thats okay as well, so its baffling me

where i live the signal is soo bad i was told i would need to spend £100 plus to install an adequate ariel and pole to get a signal, ignoring this advice i bought a tv ariel and stuck in my attic thinking that the guy was trying to rip me off but sure enough not a channel to be found so i rang bbc and told them that i couldnt recieve their channels and would get a licence when i could afford to have an ariel installed and i dont have to pay a tv licence even though i have a tv for my xbox and dvd player

until then bbciplayer will have to do :(
