Well to be fair it doesn't matter. They are doing background research. Think it through. *Hi - I am here for some of that lovely laser eye surgery -Great ! £2000 please *Here you go -#Lasers Eyes Randomly# *Oh no! My eyesight has gone worse/not changed/not fully improved Before anything happens there will be consultations with a qualified optician to discover if it is appropriate to that particular person - all they are doing is asking if anyone has had any experience in the surgery and they have found several people that have. There is simply no-way the surgery could take place without consultation with a professional beforehand - how would they know what they were doing ? |
Re: laser eye surgery.. who has it done & where ?
when you go to the opticians to ask about things you dont speak to the person doing the procedure do you? you speak to their fully trained assistants, which is what corker is.....

The Qualified Optician refered me for surgery to a Qualified Opthomologist (Eye Doctor) who decided after all the tests he carried out that I was fit for Surgery by a Qualified Eye Surgeon....supported thoughout the procedure by Qualified Specialist Eye Nurses. Where does Corker fit into that lot? |
Re: laser eye surgery.. who has it done & where ?
My son had eye surgery on march...... all those qualified people he saw were wrong and they made it worse...... wasnt your eye surgery something you needed instead of something you wanted??? the laser surgery is not something they need, its something you opt for instead of wearing glasses...... corker would be the first person you go to when deciding if you want the surgery, he would tell you about the surgery, the cost, the risks and the statistics and the basics of the op then pass you onto the person who would do the op if you still want it..... personally i wouldnt let anyone near my or my sons eyes again!

Re: laser eye surgery.. who has it done & where ?
I think my thread has kinda lost it way a bit...
its not about questioning anyones qualifications or having reason to, it was about whether or not anyone has had eye laser surgery, where abouts and the costs...that was all, nothing more and nothing less. |

Again why does it matter !? Whoever is getting the surgery will go through all the steps you mentioned as well as this one, of background research. |

Is Corky a salesman or a qualified opthalmic professional? I am sorry about your son's eyes but please dont be put off. Go to an experienced Opthalmic Optician have your sons eyes further examined and ask the advice of the Optician as to the best Specialist Childrens Eye Surgeon and which hospital for treatment. You have now a choice. SamF....you might have won a do....All procedures are based on research and background..........I was under the impression you knew that? |
