Yes, I have actually, Cashman .... and trust the up-to-date medical knowledge they possess.

My daughter, herself a practice nurse, is continually taking high quality, arduous varying courses on specialised conditions to keep up with ever increasing developments and that is why, I am sure Margaret will agree, that Romps's remark was ' ridiculous'.

Mmm .. these quotes are going a bit awry .. :)

My remark or opinion as it were, was aimed at Margaret's extensive nursing knowledge and experience, I was actually implying that nurses on the whole have a good knowledge base. I myself have a very strong medical background, so I don't feel my opinion is ridiculous, in fact I would go as far as saying most nurses are of the same opinion. Good on your daughter for her ongoing career development Kate.

I know this.. the nurses are vastly more qualified now than they were 15yrs ago.. in fact I'd take more notice of a nurse these days rather than the GP.. and now this joke of a government are hell bent on transfering billions to the GP's for no reason.. well I mean the reason is to make cuts in the NHS by closing down costly A&E's and have the GP's backroom accountants decide who will cost the most out of thier budget to have treatment...what could possibly go wrong ;)? ;)
