Not long ago we had a broken greenhouse window and I asked if the glass could go in the recycling (phoned refuse at HBC ) and was told it had to go to Whinney Hill.

Had a few instances with broken glass, what I do is lay it flat in the back yard and walk on it it soon ends up as little bits, then sweep it up into the blue box cover it with bottles and jars, & it will go in the collector like the rest of the glass, Hyndburn are just being stupid jobs worth as usual, I've been feeding them every thing thats made of recyclable plastic for years, long before they came out with their new list. If its recyclable make them have it.

Got it fixed, thanks to everyone. x

It went to Trevor Adams, who did a good job and it is now back in situ.

Thanks to my brother for taking it for me ... I am having a dispute with my intercostal muscles at the moment.. :(

Had to get it mended, due to one of those large lighter patches on my wallpaper...cheaper than redecorating ... lol.
