I lived in St Annes for a year or so, when I was in my early 20's, the number of young ladies that called out, 'Oh God', sort of proved you are correct, they wanted to be nearer to their maker and considered what we were doing was improving their chances.
There were some though that didn't consider anything about rushing and would shout, Jesus, can we not hang on a little longer?

Well that shows that you can't be posh...posh folk always like to show off or they wouldn't drive around in flash cars......and have big posh houses.

Not entirely true, Margaret.
The show offs aren't really posh, the really posh just take it all for granted.

That's why they haven't a clue how the other half live.
