Trees on the Coppice.

Is it possible that the view from the top of the Coppice will be allowed to go if the trees growing around the place are not cut back? Can't imagine that happening!:confused::confused:

Yes I agree and they are not very attractive trees are they?

There certainly needs to be some thinning out of these trees.

Doubt very much if that need will be met, they will cite cost to wriggle out of it i think.

There has been a lot of money spent on the Coppice area over the last few years including tree management work.

I doubt that "providing a view of Accy" is high on the agenda for them.

Maybe they think that Accrington should be hidden from view.
Maybe the trees are about the best thing there is in Accrington.

I went up there earlier today, had a look out from my favourite viewing point and do you know?
I couldn't see the trees for the wood.

Maybe it's time we had a mini forest fire?

Now, don't laugh, There used to be a headache Called the Con Club, nothing could be done with that but once it was set afire demolition could go ahead, surely setting fire to wood is easier?
