Dying in anticipation is usually followed by a prolonged state of disappointment. Hope this helps Staggers

Hmmm now then! Disappointment can usually be diagnosed by the miserable look on a persons face, usually followed by kicking of a cat and is usually brought on when anticipation goes t*ts up !

WHAT A LOAD OF BALLCOCKS!!!

Dying of anticipation is when you are sat outside a pub waiting for it to open in order to slake a thirst.

In Tinks case waiting for slinky to turn up with a few cans to slake her needs.

I was dying in anticipation of my dearest sister saving me from a beerless saturday night ..... and what happens? Disappointment was imminent!
