Re: Brownies

As far as I know the brownies do not use woggles at all.
Thats just the Scout's (Beavers/Cubs/Scouts).

She should be able to go for several weeks to see if she likes it before she needs to get a uniform & the group will advise you where you can purchase one (they may even have some spare bits from past members).

Its the Girl Guides that will go on hikes if at all, otherwise it is the Scouts that go on longer hikes & camps.

If she likes outdoor activities more, when she has got too old for Brownies, she would likely be welcome into a Scout group.
Thats not to say that Guides don't do them, just that I know that Scouts have more chance as the leaders are usually male & like getting outside. (I can feel a foot lodging further down my throat).

Please remember that when your daughter joins the Brownies, that it is run by unpaid volunteers and they would appreciate your help occasionally.
