Dogs on Buses.

I sometimes take my friend's dog for a walk, and thought about catching the bus back sometimes.

Do they still allow dogs on buses, and what sort of charge ?

I don't know if Transdev charge for dogs....but Rossendale Buses don't.
We were on the way back from Bury a few weeks ago when a couple got on with a beautiful Dalmatian.......my husband is a bit nosy, so he asked how much they were charged for the dog......no charge.
You could always give the bus company a ring and ask them Kate.

Thanks both of you. I was sure they still were, but didn't want to get a refusal and have to walk all the way back home.

I may be wrong, but at one time, were dogs only allowed upstairs on double deckers ?

When we used to catch the bus to Manchester for a session with the lads the bus used to full of dogs, on the last bus home it was always full of stunners

With Transdev's outrageous prices it wouldn't surprise me if you had to pay to take dogs these days and twice as much for guide dogs
