Question Huncoat???

hello,

I wonder if anyone on this forum might be able to help me? We have looked at a house in Huncoat but would you recommend the place?
I'm hearing a lot about Within Grove and Waste development sites at the moment, would you spend your life savings to buy there?
Thanks in advance xxxx

Re: Huncoat???

I live in Huncoat and its very Quiet and pleasant where I live. The problem is most people think that Huncoat begins and ends with Within Grove..

Re: Huncoat???

My rant about this is in another thread but I blame the council for this injustice as I grew up in Huncoat.

as fireman says there are some quiet/peaceful spots in huncoat, but if youre thinking within grove? i would reconsider big time, once of a day it was a nice estate but certainly couldn't recomend it now.

Re: Huncoat???

Be better if the just bulldozed the whole Within Grove area and have done with it. It was a good place once upon a time.

My sister lives in Huncoat and where she lives is nice and quiet, where abouts are you considering? Also the Griffins Head pub in Huncoat is a good local that does great grub, its not a bad place to be really.

Re: Huncoat???

That is in the village so it should be ok its just within grove that has the problems. Just watch any kids you have when near the bottom of fish lane during the start and finish of the school day.
