The Abbey Pub
I am creating a website for The Abbey Pub on Bank Street. If anyone has any old pictures or any history on the pub I would be very greatful of them.

You should contact my ex husband, as he literally lived in there a few years ago, when Ron had the place. Took his cooked tea down there one sunday afternoon and threw it at him.
Seriously though, there are plenty of people around with memories and photos of the Abbey (ours are all indoor drunken ones unfortunately) Good luck with your search. ;D

I go in the Abbey every Sunday after football (they put some cracking food on for us).
There is always a few locals in - I'll a word and see if anyone remembers anything interesting!!  |
