St Oswald,s School Accrington 1959 to 1965
 
Anyone who had the pleasure of attending this fine school will probally remember yes wait for it Miss Birch ,Miss gardner.
Names i remember in my class are danny egan,mick cawley,pauline wallace myself John Lovell .

I remember Miss Birch my first teacher 1968. Who was the headmaster was it MR.Holden.

In my day it was a headmistress Miss gardner. I must have left when you started do yu remember the priests name who came Fr stack,Fr Houlihan.

Yes FR. Houlihan was lovely. FR. Stack i remember too.

I attended Holy Family too. I think my aunt is around your age, she went to Holy Family name Kathleen Sweeney.

I remember they all went on a school trip to Austria.

Stack became a dean he wasn't lovely, in fact a nasty piece of work. IMHO.

i agree i was an altar boy at sacred heart church along side jack bentley school teacher in my younger days.

Thats why i didnt say he was lovely just that i remembered him.
