OK but as that was in post number one and the two sisters were only mentioned in passing it might have been a good idea to mention them by name in your post or possibly quote the first post in your message.

What has this post from George got to do with the current post.

I am looking for Jack Wilson,he lived in woodnook years ago.He served his apprentice
at Howard & Bullough in the 40s.He has two brothers the elder one is called Jim.I
think he now lives in Barrow in Furness.His wifes name is Betty.I will be in Accrington
early september and would like to find them.


It should have a separate thread as it has nothing to do with the origianl post.

The answer to that question is nothing at all. Think the poster just saw the title of the thread and didn't bother reading any further to see if it was relevant. He obviously got a lot of replies - not!

I'm often surprised by how many people post in a thread asking for or giving information without noticing that the thread may not have been live for many years and the participants no longer active on Accyweb.
