Re: lost friends

I knew a Brian Fletcher and John Butler, thy both came from Ossy, Brian still lives here, but have not heard or seen John for many years, I grew up with these lads, John lived in Jubilee Street and Brian in Paddock Street, the top house, which was once a Fish and Chip shop, both Brian and his dad worked at Shopfitters Brain was a painter and his dad worked in the metal shop

Re: lost friends

If you are connected with Shuttleworth's printers, I may be able to point you towards someone also connected with the firm

Lodge Street, That was between The Green and the lodges, used to go on there from School, (St Marys) there as another lad who wived on there think he was called Jackie Eastwood, think he went to Canada, but not sure, he had younger sister who used to live near me on Curlew Close Ossy. I'm certainly remembering your name now Jim but can't put a face to it yet, oh by the way I'll be 63 in July
