I do know someone with the surname Hales, I'm not posting the name though, you'll have to send a PM to me with more info, but have you tried a name search on Friends Reunited.

i do not know how to do private messaging i have checked on gene reunited just checking the local web site for info on my family history if the person you know is young it is unlikely that we are related but you never know
