£50 - Cheapest Sat Nav in the UK?

Ebuyer are selling a great sat nave for £49.99. See it here Navigo GPS Sat Nav Unit - UK Mapping - 3.5" Screen ALSO plays MP3 & MP4 - Ebuyer

I have one and they are very good. The receiver is very sensitive and the best thing about them is with a little tweak you can make it boot to the Windows CE 5.0 desktop instead of straight into the mapping software. Loads of info on the net about doing this and how to install and run tomtom and many other navigation programs. A tomtom for under £50 is definately a bargain.

I have one of these too. I've only run it with the updated TurboDog 5.0 software so far, but it does exactly what it says on the box (or tin).

I'm going to experiment with the TomTom software via a spare SD card, but when I have used it (and I only got it a couple of days ago), it seems pretty good as it is.

I do like that term "safety camera", what is safe about making people brake at the last minute because they see a big orange box at the side of the road? Even the ones doing the speed limit jump on the brakes before they check how fast they are going.

Opps sorry about the rant.

You have to change a couple of settings on it then install some software to get them working.
