You could always offer your items for free on here pixie i'm sure someone here could use them.

Re: Are there any charitable organisations
just call into 1 of the charity shops in town, tell them what you have got and they will send someone round to collect it

Re: Are there any charitable organisations
Don't want to be a wet blanket Pixie, but I know so many mums who have done that and then found themselves pregnant again. The Cancer Charities will pick up if you contact them as will Help the Aged and the British Heart Foundation.

Couldn't agree more pixie, I would want any more either and I don't have to go through all that pain and discomfort. Tell me how do they look at you as if you have two heads......?

Re: Are there any charitable organisations
Isn't it funny how we can be so different? I have a friend who has a very large family (some aquired by marriage I must admit). I've got two which is plenty for me. I didn't want only one because I was an only child and always wanted a brother or sister when I was younger. Even now I think I'd like to have had siblings so that my children had cousins.

Yes, Willow it IS weird. I cannot understand women who have more than two kids at the most, anymore than that and they must be a real sucker for punishment! I have one sibling and that seems about right. It just seems "messy" to have all those kids knocking about.:D |
Re: Are there any charitable organisations
I was the eldest girl in a family with 7 kids......I hated it......always wanted to be an only child. There was no mystery in babies, we seemed to have one at our house every year. By the time I got married I had had enough baby minding to last me a lifetime......and I think if it had been up to me I would not have had any......but hubby was the youngest of 3 and he wanted a brood.
