Why would you steal that??

I got a new cooker about 2 months ago and the old electric one was in my back yard while I optimistically tried to get the council to come and shift it.Having had no luck even getting thru to the Council I was beginning to despair,BUT some kind hearted thieves have saved me a job by breaking into my back yard and stealing it! Good effort lads! It won't work as it's been out in the rain for 2 months and was rubbish before that!So there you have the answer to all your removal needs,it obviously helps if the object looks like it might still serve some purpose, just leave it in view and some light fingered yob will remove it for you free of charge!:)

We have people knocking on the door asking if we have any srap that needs moving all the time, this is because the price of scrap metal has shot up.

Maybe you should have advertised it for sale as scrap Lindsay.

Probably if you had put your cooker outside the back door with a sign on it saying "Please help yourself", nobody would have taken it! Funny, innit?

Sorry Lindsay l should really have asked before l took the cooker!

Garinda will be wearing a rather large brooch made of white enamel at the Stag this Saturday.

No Willow, but if I'd known there was a faulty cooker going I would have had it, then I would have a good excuse for always eating take aways!

Re: Why would you steal that??

the best way to dispose of any rubbish is to simply throw it down the back alley

then report fly tipping to ther council

a man turns up to investigate where it came from

scratches is head after not been able to find a name or address on the offending rubbish

within 24hrs it is taken away :D

THE CORRECT WAY

ring council to tell them u need rubbish rmoving from your back yard

get told it could be upto 4 weeks before it is removed

leave back gate open for upto 4 weeks until item is removed

get burgled or shed broke into because gate was left open

insurance refuses to pay out as you left acess for burgulars in leaving gate open

i know which method i will use;)

I had a clear-out of my garage about a year ago. I had about a hundred, decent plant pots of all shapes and sizes. I put them on the wall of the front garden with a notice saying, "Please help yourself." Not a single one was taken. I should have left them by the garage door. I bet the whole lot would have gone overnight.
