I have voted for the weekly collection even though for the majority of the time a fortnightly collection is ok as there are only 2 of us living here.If you have a big clear out the bin soon fills up and it can't be hygienic to have all that rubbish fermenting in the bin for 2 weeks in the summer heat! {providing we get a summer this year.....**. I can well appreciate how difficult it must be for a family having to cope with the current ludicrous system.

well so far its 18 to 1 so in general i would say that most people think that the current system isnt enough

now all we need is the council to remember that they are there to serve the people and people want weekly pickups

admitidly only 19 people have voted but 18-1 is a landslide in my book lol

But mine gets emptied weekly anyway.

Well this is virtually the same system that Midpennine arts used to determine that there was a 75% approval rating for the Panopticon. Sauce for the goose and all that. Personally, I think 95% speaks far louder than a paltry 75%. Anyone fancy a letter to the Observer asking them to hold a similar poll?
