well it certainly wasnt due to any resistance from the french was it lol

although to be fair some french people did have a bit of backbone and helped out british soldiers

Frogs legs and snails are quite tasty and I haven't yet tried horse but I'd be more than happy to. Whats the difference between cow and horse? Only because we don't raise them as food we see it as 'not right'.

In reality what is 'French food'? They eat the same as us only its described in their own language. I like the Philly ad thats on at the moment where the two girls are eating sausage, mash and peas.

As for stupid polititians we have more than our fair share of those!!!

french food. ha, crap food,, here in england at lest we have " sit " on loo`s and NOT a hole in the floor (as on french motorways) there more like skid-pans ...that all them snails for you
