Having fought twice with the planners I can only say what a bunch of officious power mad nutters with no common sense they are.

I'm only grateful that I won't be doing any more work that needs their approval.

apparently you are supposed to get permission to cut down a tree even if it is in your own back yard

thankfully we had some bad wind that blew it down saving me the hassle of dealing with the council

i think it was called hurricain chainsaw that did it ;)

the tree had to go

even when trimmed it provided shelter for bugulars to do their work out of sight :mad:
