Cricket Simply Explained

CRICKET............................READ SLOWLY...
.......................................
You have two sides ,one out in the field and one in....
Each man thats in the side thats in, goes out and when he's out, he comes in and the next man goes in' until he's out ...

When they are all out,the side thats out comes in and the side thats been in goes out
and tries to get those coming in out..
When both sides have been in and out ,including the not outs...
THATS THE END OF THE GAME.....
HOWZAT..

WRITTEN ON A TEA TOWEL BELONGING TO GRANNYCLARET..

The most stupis thing is that after five days of playing they call it a draw!!! HOW??? surley they could have something like a penatly shoot out with one bowl and bat each best out of five or sudden death

Rumour has it the England team has made it more popular. 5 day matches nope gimme 20/20 its more fun to watch. I like cricket but the fact that England are on top in a match and still only manage a draw makes me think people are not seeing the light. :D :D :D :D :D :D

I used to have a similar Tea towel.......and another with the silly rules of golf on.......sadly now both worn out. No dishwasher at our house.

I'm not a fan of any kind of sport, but the last two test matches have been gripping. Hmmm! must get out more.

as we have been pretty crap for a good few years spuggie, the fact that we dominated the no1 rated nation in world cricket, and yes the weather helped them save the match, makes me think you are too far up north to see any light. :engsmil:
