i went to visit a guy i know whose a butcher.... he had a huge bag of the stuff that he had on order for a customer!!! i took one look and decided against it!! maybe after i get back from a night out....lol

i feed it to my cat and dog?!! it looks awful i dont even like giving it to me pets!...... i dont think i would ever try it! :s_sick: :sick:

My Dad used to eat tripe and elder with loads of vinegar when he was ill. He swore it made him better. personally I hate the stuff

i got a craze for tripe when i was pregnant once. the other two times i went mad on steak...big differance in price...lol

yes i would & do eat tripe........lovely........mmmmmmm. i like a nice lamb or cows heart too, by the way frogs legs are good very tasty shark not too bad, squid can be a bit chewy, & octapus well ive that to try yet .

never much cared for tripe,always loved elder, but feel that people are not entitled to knock anything they havent tried.

when i moved up here from the south,a so called neighbour fetched some over for us to tryas it is a delicasie.yuk yuk yuk yuk.i am a fully qualified chef by trade and have come across some things in my time but tripe.
FORGET it that stuff is the worst stuff on the planet
jellied eels yes
snails yes
black pudding yes
tripe no no no no no

How about having Staggeringman & Mandy do tripe or black puddings at the next meeting his black puddings are very good i have had them.....:eek:
