Re: Christmas Party?
I like the idea of a Xmas party for the kids, I think the easiest way would be to go to somewhere like little treasures but if someone wanted to organise something different, and had the time then that'd be good too.

Re: Christmas Party?
Why not invent a new title ie Senior Member or Senior Member Plus. WE could have a GDB, General dogs Body and an Assistant of the same or an Official Organiser And an assistant give them the power to drag people in and co-opt in order to bring to fruition what the members are asking for ie.Carnival Float, Kids Christmas Party, Forum Trip for the day, Whatever is wanted.......................

Re: Christmas Party?
not really but someone needs to take the bull by the horns and get all these so called projects off the ground instead of just talking lets have some action

Re: Christmas Party?
That's what I said but it didn't seem to go down very well unfortunately. :( I think people would prefer to muddle along on an unofficial basis and just sort things out between themselves (or not, as the case may be).

Re: Christmas Party?
I think the or not seems to be the favourable side don't you?

Re: Christmas Party?
I have two little boys aged 8months and 2 and a bit years and we'd love to come to the party. I have organised a few things for the NCT so if I can do something to help, let me know.
Baxenden cricket club isn't a bad venue - we've been to a toddler group Christmas party there before. These things cost money though... As for Santa, my husband donned a borrowed suit last year at the NCT's kid's party but he frightened the bejesus out of his own son and made two other little 'uns cry so I don't think he'd volunteer again!! |
