That would turn it into a mongrel TV Station like most of the crappy satellite stations with even more repeats and meaningless game shows. I for one would wholly support licences free television for all Schools, Hospitals, and Students without incomes, “chronically ill people and those over 65 who have less than £25.000 per annum income. Anyone else should pay a reasonable fee for Higher Quality Viewing.

All the major independent stations produce some quality television. Instead of producing their own ideas for shows the Beeb try to emmualte the more popular programmes produced by other channels, or poach presenters like Graham Norton, who like I said earlier was offered a three million pound contract paid for with licence payer's money, when at the time they had no plans where to use him.

Since then he's appeared on that highbrow programme Strictly Ballroom.

I wouldn't need too Neil, I'll get is own Wireless lap top, free TV, weekends off to visit the Stag and a shower cap. :rolleyes:

I am not an expert on DVD's. Now foreign satellite is another story. Strange how I need to pay money to the BBC to watch French TV.
