There are some golf clubs that have altered their constitution to allow females on to the club council / management of the club.
One of the top female golfers did play in a gents US tour event the other year as a trial. From what I remember she did very well.

They dont. Lot's of the private 'gentlemans' clubs in London still exclude women, even though this rule has been challenged in the courts.

Just as a point of interest men aren't allowed at Ann Summers parties - apparantly if they are there it is classed as an orgy and orgies are illegal!

Another blatent example of sexism is that the courts nearly always award custody of a child to the mother. If we have sexual equality, the child should be in the primary care of the best parent, which isn't always the woman.

Well thats just daft, I've been to plenty of Ann Summers parties and even if men were present it still wouldn't be anything like an orgy.

I dont see anything wrong with men and women wanting to be part of seperate organisations, is it a case of anything men can do we have to prove that we can can equal, unless of course we need some heavy lifting or its a dirty job then its ok for the man to do!

Again this is a load of needless and unnecessary bo****ks in my opinion. I don’t have a problem with Single sex clubs, why should it be discriminatory or sexist to want to be with members of your own sex. A gentleman’s club is a place of reflection and peace for the discerning gent to do what men do. Debate, drink and quite possibly do things that woman shouldn’t witness. By admitting women into men’s club we are automatically prevented from being ourselves, which is itself an act of discrimination. I don’t have any problem with the girls going to Ann Summers parties or Virgin Makeup parties. I don’t believe they should be restrained by the presents of a man ogling at their fleshy bits during the thong show or comparing their bouncing all dancing, all singing bunny’s……Men and women require time apart, there is a natural need for them to meet independently of each other and it’s something that exist and is reflected in societies throughout the natural world. :) :) :)

I didn't say there was anything wrong with single sex private clubs, I've been to quite a few myself.

By the way orgies in private aren't illegal anymore.

Orgies should be illegal. They are morally wrong and corruptive…………. If anyone is planning to hold one please give us a bell…..:D :D :D

If this is in response to my post I didn’t say you did. I wasn’t knocking or slating anyone. I was just adding my opinion to this discussion…:)
