Asterixes are allowed, read into it what you like, just don't tread on my new shoes.

It's not allowed when I do it. You better get a pm or I'll be having a word.

Go on Gayle, we're rooting for you!
By the way, I've not viewed the posts on here for a while, am I right in thinking that Vitty is a reporter on the Ob?
Can he give us some insight into the way newspapers work?
I was wondering about the front page story on the murder charge being dropped. It was on the front of the Telegraph on Thursday, but the Ob has an 'Exclusive' under it. How does that work? Maybe I should learn never to trust newspapers!?
And on that note, poor old Dorothy MacGregor of Maundy Grange. She's a great part of the community here in Hyndburn, but all she seems to get is stick for trying to help. Leave her alone I say!
Apart from that the Ob's a good read.

Yes Dillon, Vitty works for the Observer. He's been quite up front about it, unlike some.

Thank you Park, you’re a gentleman. Gayle best of luck, it’s a positive peace that plants a nice seed in peoples minds.

I had to snigger at this week's Mr Angry, who claims that he never uses tired cliches. What on Earth does he call 'it really makes my blood boil' then??????:D

A rallying call for the blood transfusion service.

Yes, most happy at the piece in the paper about me today - nice to be so newsworthy!

Not just me in the paper though, my son's snuck in there. He's on the school page as he goes to Heathland Nursery and the preschool of their nursery are put in together with the reception class of the school part. He's the cute button on the front row far left.

That's funny lol ... wonder how Mr Angry going to explain that oneI wonder. Probably by saying the same sort of cliche, etc. This column always amusing however.

'Not' the same sort of cliche was what I really meant ... was multi-tasking trying to find me favourite lipstick and knowing it's in a place I last used it !!
